My name is Scott Cameron and I currently am a freelance copywriter, crazy right!

I’m a former professional tennis player where I traveled the world for about four years before moving to NYC to begin a career in copywriting at my first agency: Peanut Butter & Imagination. While there, I worked across a diverse roster of national brands, developing conceptual and short-form copy spanning brand, product, and social campaigns. I collaborated closely with art directors, strategists, and creative leadership to bring ideas from concept to execution across multiple platforms. Some of the accounts & work that I got to get my hands in:

Domino’s – Concepted and wrote punchy, consumer-first copy rooted in speed, convenience, and brand voice.

Northwestern Mutual – Developed accessible, human-centered messaging around financial literacy, risk, long-term planning, and more.

Zoom – Wrote clear, benefit and social-driven copy for product features and B2B storytelling, balancing utility with brand personality.

Autotrader & Kelley Blue Book – Concepted and crafted a 30 second radio spot for current Autotrader campaign, as well as DOOH for the current TV Spot. Also crafted copy to encourage consumers across all platforms to use products to buy, sell, and value their vehicles. Additional client work across social, digital, and campaign-level creative Brought a strategic mindset, sharp instincts for tone, and a collaborative energy to every brief whether refining a single line or building a larger narrative.

Wait, there’s more?

I also have a videography and journalism portfolio that is unfortunately linked to another site but if that’s something you wish to check out then please be my guest.
